We are looking for a dynamic and driven Sales Representative to join our team and help grow our presence in key markets.

Position Summary

The Sales Representative is the face of Dewey Beer Co. in the market, responsible for driving sales, increasing brand visibility, and maintaining strong relationships with accounts and distributor partners. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role requires a motivated and enthusiastic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to the growth of our brand.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with bars, restaurants, liquor stores, and other retail accounts within the assigned territory.

  • Increase points of distribution and execute sales growth initiatives set by the Sales Manager.

  • Educate retail partners and consumers about Dewey Beer Co. products through in-person visits, tastings, and events.

  • Work closely with distributor sales teams to ensure alignment with company sales goals, pricing strategies, and inventory management.

  • Implement and execute marketing and sales programs, including promotions, displays, and new product launches.

  • Track and report key sales metrics, including distribution growth, sales performance, and market trends.

  • Conduct regular market visits to ensure strong visibility and merchandising of Dewey Beer Co. brands.

  • Support and participate in events such as tap takeovers, beer festivals, and community engagement opportunities.

  • Perform administrative tasks. They include but are not limited to expense reports, weekly call points, monthly calendar, sales analysis.

  • Create weekly recap of account work and send to distributors and Sales Manager.

  • Must be able to work in team environment as well as independently.

  • Communicate market insights, competitive activity, and potential opportunities to the Sales Manager.

  • Ensure proper handling and care of product samples, promotional materials, and company assets.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Passion for craft beer and knowledge of the beer industry.

  • 1-3 years of sales experience in the alcohol beverage or related industry preferred.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers and industry professionals.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing time effectively in a remote, field-based role.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Workspace and familiarity with CRM (LilyPad) tools. Experience with VIP a plus.

  • Ability to lift and move cases of beer (up to 50 lbs.) as needed for deliveries, events, and tastings.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Fast-paced, highly dynamic work environment.

  • Frequent travel within the assigned territory.

  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for events and promotions.

Packaging Assistant

Job Responsibilities

  • Startup and closing of the canning line, keg washing/filling station

  • Operate canning line and/or fill kegs with minimal supervision

  • Assist with pack out and ensure pallets are built efficiently for distribution orders and taproom needs.

  • Execute pre-production QA/QC of equipment in accordance with the site’s quality requirements

  • Routine checks and assist with preventative maintenance of equipment

  • Efficient completion of packaging, final assembly, and storage

  • Product labeling and inspection of final products

  • Organize raw materials and finished goods with pallet jacks and forklifts

  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area

  • Report issues when they arise – this should be done quickly to minimize any impact on the efficiency of production

  • Maintain all relevant documentation for equipment and process

  • Assist in the loading and unloading of vendor deliveries

  • Update packaging information and inventories in the brewery management software (Ekos)

  • Ability to work flexible hours: first or second shift; weekends if needed within a 40 hour work week.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-tasking; strong communication skills

  • Ability to lift 55 lbs. and move up to 165 lbs. using traditional methods

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment yet be precise in daily tasks

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and attentive to quality and standards

  • Confident and team-oriented

  • Packaging Operators are responsible for the daily operation of the machinery involved in packaging. You must have an acute understanding of the normal function of our machinery as well as a good understanding of basic troubleshooting.

  • Ability to load and drive 20’ box truck

  • Forklift certification preferred

  • Strong mechanical aptitude & problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge/understanding of basic hand and power tools

  • Self-motivated and ability to perform tasks independently

  • Ability to arrange and wrap pallets for safe transportation

  • Ability to learn manufacturing equipment, follow production procedures and exercise extreme caution when handling chemicals, hot water, and high-pressure gasses and tanks
